What a year.
A lot can happen within 365 days. I explored my personal and professional interests while, making so many wonderful friends along the way. Without their support, I wouldn't have the confidence to put myself out there and try my best. Just to name a few:
I joined a school club and became the Vice President of Marketing of the Student Marketing Association
I found out I liked ( and was moderately good at) marketing and wished to pursue it professionally
I started the co-op program at SFU
Landed an Internship at SAP Canada
I made a personal Instagram account @andrea_again
Not everyday is a good day and that's okay. Doing school, working full-time and volunteering at least 8-10 hours a week can definitely take a toll on a person. For me, I got incredibly sick and burnt out. There was one moment in november where I had 3 different infections happening simultaneously within my body --- what fun. It really took me back and made me realize that physical and mental health should always come first.
LESSON OF THE YEAR:
If you wanna do something, do it because no one is really going to stop you. But, if your loved ones want the best experience and well-being for you... I would lend an ear. Sometimes, we get too caught up in our heads and we can't see the bigger picture. It's always a good idea to have multiple perspectives on a situation!

Come at me 2017.
